A Proud Moment for Rotaract Aley

Past President Elissar Ezzeddine Appointed District Rotaract Representative

Rotaract Club of Aley is proud to celebrate one of the most meaningful milestones in our club’s history. Our Past President, Elissar Ezzeddine, has officially been appointed as District Rotaract Representative for District 2452, a role that places her at the heart of youth leadership across Lebanon and beyond.

For our club, this moment is far more than an individual achievement. It is a reflection of years of dedication, growth, and unwavering service that began in Aley and now extends across an entire district. Elissar’s journey is one of commitment to people, purpose, and the belief that leadership is built through service.

From Interact Aley to District Leadership

Elissar’s story began in 2014, when she joined Interact Aley as a 14 year old searching for a place to belong. What she found was a community that shaped her confidence, values, and vision. Over the years, she grew alongside Rotaract, serving as Interact President, Rotaract Aley President, Country Representative, Vice District Rotaract Representative, District Executive Secretary, and Vice President of Rotaract Mediterranean.

Each role strengthened her ability to lead with empathy, structure, and heart. But for Elissar, this new appointment is not about titles.

“This DRR appointment is about giving back to everything I was given: service, friendships, leadership experiences, guidance, love, and passion. It's a chance to pour back into the community that poured into me, to nurture the next generation of Rotaractors, and to show them the incredible journey that awaits.”

Her leadership has always been rooted in giving more than she takes, and in lifting others as she rises.

Carrying the Spirit of a 14 Year Old Dreamer

Despite years of experience, Elissar remains deeply connected to the young girl who first walked into Interact Aley with curiosity and hope.

“Looking back, I see that 14-year-old girl walking into Interact Aley with wide eyes and an open heart. Today, I still carry that same innocence, that same sense of wonder. I carry the spark that was lit that day, the eagerness to learn and grow, and the love that I've nurtured over the years.”

Through every leadership position she held, she continued learning, guided by Rotaract leaders who inspired her along the way. That spark has now grown into a steady flame, one that she brings into her new role as DRR.

Leadership Shaped by People, Not Power

Elissar’s presidency at Rotaract Aley was one of the most active and impactful years in the club’s history. With over 55 projects and the creation of Miss Rotaract Lebanon, she proved that bold ideas paired with dedication can change lives.

Yet the greatest lesson she carries forward is not about projects, but about people.

“I came to realize that leadership isn't about imposing one's will, but about understanding and embracing the unique strengths and weaknesses of those around you. Some people thrived under my direction, while others needed a different approach. And that's what I'll bring to this role as DRR.”

As District Rotaract Representative, she is committed to creating a space where every Rotaractor feels heard, supported, and empowered to grow in their own way.

A Vision for District 2452

Elissar’s vision for the district is simple and powerful. She wants every Rotaractor to feel that they matter.

“I want every Rotaractor to feel like they matter. That their presence matters, their efforts matter, their words matter, and their thoughts matter. Regardless of their position or experience, I want them to know they're valued and integral to our district's journey.”

Her goal is to build a district culture rooted in belonging, where clubs support each other and every voice contributes to the collective strength of District 2452.

A Message to Every Young Rotaractor

To those who may be doubting themselves, especially members of smaller clubs or newer Rotaractors, Elissar offers a message filled with warmth and truth.

“If you're doubting your place in Rotaract, I want you to know you're not alone. I once doubted mine too. Your place in Rotaract isn't defined by where you're from or what you've done; it's defined by the passion in your heart and the willingness to take that first step.”

Her journey is living proof that growth begins with showing up, even when you are unsure.

A Moment of Pride for Rotaract Aley

For Rotaract Club of Aley, Elissar’s appointment is both a celebration and a reminder of what is possible when passion meets purpose. She carries our values, our history, and our spirit into the heart of District 2452.

We are proud of her.
We believe in her.
And we look forward to watching her lead a district with the same heart, integrity, and dedication she brought to our club.

Rotaract Aley stands with you, Elissar, always.
