Rotaract Aley Leads the Mediterranean

Rotaract Aley proudly celebrates one of its own, Past President Mira El Ammoury, on her election as Rotaract Mediterranean (MDIO) President for RY 2026–2027. This achievement is more than a personal milestone; it is a moment that reflects the strength, vision, and leadership cultivated within our club and shared across the Mediterranean region.

Mira’s Rotaract journey began at Rotaract Aley, where she quickly distinguished herself through consistency, professionalism, and a natural ability to connect people and ideas. From her early years as a member to holding key leadership roles within the club, her growth has always been guided by service, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.

Her progression within Rotaract Aley speaks for itself. She served as International Services Director, then Secretary, followed by Vice President, and later President in RY 2024–2025. Each role strengthened her leadership and expanded her impact, while her continued service as Immediate Past President and Mentorship Officer ensured continuity, guidance, and support for the next generation of leaders.

Beyond the club, Mira’s influence expanded across the district and the Mediterranean. She represented Rotaract District 2452 as International Liaison Officer, contributed at the international level through Rotaract Mediterranean as Med Action Collaborator, Secretary Collaborator, Marketing Collaborator, and later as International Coordinator, and served as Secretary of the International Mediterranean Weekend, helping bring together Rotaractors from across the region. Each responsibility added a new layer of experience, shaping her into a leader capable of navigating diverse cultures, teams, and challenges.

In parallel, her role as a Dual Member of Rotary Aley reflected her commitment to building strong bridges between Rotaract and Rotary, reinforcing collaboration and shared purpose at every level of the organization.

Now, as President-Elect of Rotaract Mediterranean, Mira carries with her not only an impressive résumé, but also the values that have always defined her leadership: dedication, humility, creativity, and a deep belief in the power of people working together. Her election represents the trust of the entire Mediterranean network and stands as recognition of years of service, consistency, and integrity.

For Rotaract Aley, this moment is especially meaningful. Watching Mira grow from a guest to club leader, and now to Rotaract Mediterranean President, is a reminder of what this community is capable of building. What began as a club became a family, and through that family, leaders who shape the future of Rotaract far beyond our borders.

Mira’s journey is still unfolding, but her impact is already clear. The Mediterranean now has a president who understands service from the ground up, who has lived every level of Rotaract, and who is ready to lead with vision, structure, and heart.

From all of us at Rotaract Aley: we are proud, grateful, and inspired. The Mediterranean is in powerful hands.
