Aley Gets Away 5.0

Every year, as the holiday season approaches, the Rotaract Club of Aley embraces a tradition that brings warmth, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Aley Gets Away, now in its fifth edition, is not just a festive event. It’s a cherished legacy that bonds us closer and reminds us why we call ourselves a family.

A Tradition Rooted in Celebration

Initiated five years ago, Aley Gets Away was created to unite members during Christmas and New Year in a setting that celebrates togetherness. Over time, it has grown into a signature project, eagerly anticipated by all. This year’s getaway took us to the beautiful town of Batroun, where the spirit of the holidays came alive through joy, adventure, and meaningful connection.

With a carefully curated program, the weekend was packed with laughter, activities, and thoughtful traditions. From our Secret Santa exchange—beautifully hosted by our very own "Santa" and "Elf", to the friendly awards like “Santa’s Favorite” and “Best Secret Santa,” every moment was crafted to make each member feel special.

A Visit from the National Team

This year’s edition was made even more special with the presence of our national team—DRR Elie Gharios, VDRR Fadi Hammoud, and our own VDRR Christophe Awada—who joined us in celebrating, dancing, and creating memories. President Mira honored each member with heartfelt gifts, and our national team followed with meaningful souvenirs, reinforcing our shared commitment to the Rotaract spirit.

Beyond the Festivities

Aley Gets Away 5.0 wasn’t just about the party, it was about creating experiences. From the Phoenician Wall to the interactive Animal City visit, our weekend combined relaxation, culture, and exploration. Meals were shared, laughs were endless, and memories were made, just as they’ve been for the past five years.

At its core, Aley Gets Away is an extension of what we value most: unity, tradition, and celebration. It’s where we pause to recognize the bonds we’ve built and the memories still to come. And as the fifth edition drew to a close, one thing was clear: this was more than a getaway—it was home.

Here’s to many more years of laughter, connection, and family traditions.
