Breathing Life into Aley

Healthcare is the heartbeat of any thriving community. In Aley, Al Iman Hospital stands as the primary provider for over 30,000 patients annually. To enhance critical care services, the hospital took a major step forward—expanding its capacity with the addition of an ASG 600 oxygen generator, a vital machine that ensures patients receive the life-saving oxygen they need.

Rotaract Aley, in collaboration with Rotary Aley and Interact Aley, proudly led the Al Iman Hospital Oxygen Generator Project, uniting forces to address a pressing need in our community. This project was powered by our heartfelt Rotaract for Life fundraiser and supported by generous donors whose impact will resonate through the lives of thousands.

With a total project budget of $120,000, the preparation took a full year of strategic planning, outreach, and coordination. In February 2025, the implementation phase began, marking the arrival and setup of the generator at the hospital. This initiative isn’t just a one-time act—it’s a sustainable, long-term investment in public health and hospital self-sufficiency.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our key sponsors and supporters who made this possible, including:

The oxygen generator ensures a continuous supply of oxygen for patients in severe or critical condition—especially during emergencies when every breath counts. It also alleviates the hospital’s reliance on external oxygen suppliers, making the system more resilient and self-sufficient.

This project was a true community triumph, showcasing the power of collaboration between youth-led initiatives, experienced service clubs, and socially responsible citizens and businesses. Together, we have breathed new life into Aley—quite literally.

Here’s to continuing the journey of Extending Legacies through impactful healthcare solutions. 💙
