As part of our continuous efforts to extend legacies and foster impactful leadership, Rotaract Aley proudly hosted the Miss Rotaract Candidates Training, an empowering professional development event under the guidance of PD Director Bahaa Hilal. Held at MEA's Riyadh Salameh Auditorium, this edition of the training brought together 12 candidates from Rotaract Clubs across Lebanon for a full day of confidence-building, communication, and purpose-driven leadership.
This initiative forms a core pillar of the Miss Rotaract Lebanon journey, an inner beauty competition that simultaneously serves a noble cause: raising funds for the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL).
The training was thoughtfully split into two impactful sessions. The first, "Style to Speak", was led by Hikmat Abdelkhalek, who guided the candidates in expressing their personalities through powerful, tailored speaking styles. The second, "Walk with Confidence", delivered by professional dancer Zeina Assaf, helped participants explore posture, stage presence, and the art of walking with purpose and self-belief.
Through these interactive sessions, the candidates developed vital skills in public speaking, confident body language, self-expression, and leadership presence—laying the groundwork for both personal growth and community impact.
What makes this project truly powerful is how it blends education with advocacy. Beyond its support for Basic Education and Literacy, the training also addresses Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention, empowering young women to find their voice, embrace their leadership potential, and become role models within their communities.
This is a project that extends legacies. Having grown and evolved through multiple editions, the Miss Rotaract Training is now a signature experience within our club—one that members anticipate, contribute to with passion, and remember for its real, human impact. It is also a moment of meaningful engagement for participants from other clubs, strengthening interclub connections and building a stronger, more united Rotaract community.
