To welcome the festive season with warmth and creativity, the Rotaract Club of Aley organized Sprinkle & Sparkle, a joyful professional development workshop in collaboration with Piece of Cake. This hands-on event gave members and guests the chance to unleash their inner artist through festive culinary arts, from building gingerbread houses to decorating bento cakes and crafting Christmas cookie trees.
The session focused on developing creativity and craftsmanship. Participants learned specific decorating techniques, explored new culinary skills, and exchanged tips in a friendly, engaging atmosphere. The event was not just about learning—it was about sharing laughter, traditions, and a sense of community.
Amid a cozy, cheerful setup, members dove into the holiday spirit, assembling and decorating their edible creations with icing, candies, and festive flair. The event helped participants tap into their artistic side while also enjoying each other’s company in a relaxed setting.
Sprinkle & Sparkle successfully strengthened club bonds, fostering a deeper sense of belonging among members. It showcased how celebrating traditions can go hand-in-hand with personal development and community spirit. By organizing a meaningful, seasonal experience, the club upheld its vision of Extending Legacies, nurturing joyful memories, creativity, and teamwork.
This project left everyone with more than just delicious creations, it built stronger relationships and inspired smiles, proving once again that learning and celebration go beautifully together.
